Description
If you’ve ever seen the Northern Lights Dance across the sky you know just how magical it is. Painting them is simply magical for me, as I lay down the inks and “blow out” the sky, watching the inks dance across the page is a thrill! I was inspired to create this series after we had several recent opportunities to see the Aurora Borealis here in Minnesota. Alas, with the light pollution I was unable to catch even a glimmer of a glow. I have seen them 1 time in my life, 28 years ago! I had a trip to Iceland planned for Sept 2020 that will be rescheduled at some point. For now, I will paint them.
