My name is Katie Hieggelke, I create art for all of your spaces with Alcohol ink and mixed media. I am so glad you found me! Driven by a lifelong fascination with the intersection of nature and imagination, My goal is to create expressive works that resonate with emotional depth. While expressive landscapes form a significant part of my artistic exploration, my creative curiosity extends beyond traditional boundaries finding equal inspiration in the whimsy of flower blooms and “wispy” abstracts. This has me exploring a diverse range of subjects. Working primarily with alcohol ink, a medium known for its fluidity and vibrant intensity, I often allow the paint to dictate the direction of my compositions. Each piece is an exploration of color and form, often capturing the feeling of a subject rather than its precise depiction.
