Oh! this piece, so many emotions while painting this field of sunflowers. For weeks all my heart would allow me to paint was sunflowers. This one features those looking to the sun and those which are spent, but still spreading their seed to regrow and seek the sun.
This is a mixed media piece with acrylics and alcohol ink. It is a 24′ aluminum disc with a sawtooth hanger attached to the back. It would be equally at home displayed on an easel or hung on a wall.
